Jozo Simunovic and Tom Rogic are out of the Celtic side to face Astana with Kristoffer Ajer and Callum McGregor drafted in.
Simunovic has been spared from playing on artificial surfaces giving Ajer a big chance with McGregor preferred to the more attack minded Rogic.
Despite the healthy first leg lead Rodgers is taking no chances with his preparations for the match and is looking to build on Celtic’s impressive progress through the qualifying phase.
The 1-0 win away to Rosenborg was followed by last week’s 5-0 win over Astana with the Irishman keen to keep that momentum going into Thursday’s draw for the group stage.
Celtic look like going into that draw in Pot 4 but if Rijeka of Croatia can overturn a 2-1 defeat from the away leg against Olympiakos the hoops would be promoted into Pot 3.
The full line up for the draw will be known on Wednesday night with Liverpool looking to build on their 2-1 lead away to Hoffenheim to become the sixth British club in the draw.
