Brendan Rodgers was delighted by Celtic’s near flawless display in the 3-0 win away to Aberdeen.
In the final quarter there was some sloppy passing out of defence but during the fist hour the hoops were in top gear sweeping Aberdeen aside.
Patrick Roberts, Leigh Griffiths and Scott Sinclair were left on the bench but there was nothing second rate about the way Celtic set about the top of the table clash.
With a combined age of just 41 Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele took the first half honours with a goal and an assist each.
Tierney opened the scoring with a blistering shot in the twelfth minute after Dembele made space down the right, six minutes from the break the full-back raced down the left to fire in a perfect cross that Dembele bundled into the net.
Just past the hour mark Dembele headed into the net from close range after Dedryck Boyata headed a Stuart Armstrong free kick across goal.
