Demob happy Pedro Caixinha celebrated his Sevco pay off with a bite to eat in a trendy west-end cafe.
Shortly after Sevco announced the sacking of the 48-year-old he was spotted in Caffe Parma alongside assistants Helder Baptista, Jose Belman and Pedro Malta.
It seems that a severance deal was agreed quite easily with the announcement made just over an hour after Caixinha drove away from Murray Park.
Caixinha’s seven month reign will be a costly one for the club with just an emotional win over Partick Thistle at Firhill worth remembering.
With eleven players recruited in the summer, most of whom are linked to agent Pedro Mendes, the club will be paying the price for some time to come.
Midfield ace Carlos Pena is under contract until 2020 with little prospect of any club being prepared to pick up the £3m transfer fee agreed in the summer.
Graeme Murty will be in charge for tomorrow’s match away to Hearts.
